Classroom Rules & Expectations

BASIC CLASSROOM RULES:

(1) Respect yourself.
(2) Respect others.
(3) Respect property.







ARRIVAL/MORNING PROCEDURES:
(1) Go directly to your locker before entering the classroom.
Bring the materials you will need for the day into the
classroom. You are NOT allowed at your locker throughout the
day, except for getting lunches & coats.
(2) Begin working on the morning work. The assignment will be
written on the front chalkboard.
(3) When the bell rings, stop working and remember that there is
no talking when the announcements start.Listen carefully.


CONCERNING HOMEWORK:
(1) Homework is designed to give you the chance to practice what
you learned at school. If you do not complete your homework,
you will not only lose points, but you will fall behind. You
must be responsible and bring your completed homework to
class each day.

CONCERNING AGENDA BOOKS:
(1) Each student is responsible for writing down all of their
assignments every day.
(2) Write every assignment down, even if you have already
completed it. Put a check next to it if it is finished.
(3) Ms. Gibble will come around to check and initial it each day.
If something is missing or incorrect you will need to correct
it before Ms. Gibble can sign it.
(4) Students should take their agenda books home every day.

IN THE CAFETERIA:
(1) Be polite to and obey the cafeteria workers and teachers on
lunch duty. They are making it possible for you to eat a good
meal in the cafeteria.
(2) Stay in your seat. You are NOT allowed to get up.
(3) Eating lunch in the cafeteria with your friends is a
privilege. If you do not obey and act responsibly, you will
lose that privilege.

AT 'SPECIALS' (Art, Gym, Music, etc.):
(1) You are to follow the classroom rules while you are at
school, whether you are in Room #204 or not.You know what is
expected of you and you need to behave accordingly,
regardless of whether Ms. Gibble is there or not.
(2) Misbehavior in a ‘special’ will result in the same
consequences as you would receive in the classroom for the
behavior.
(3) Misbehavior & disrespect will not be tolerated.
