Homework
Homework is encouraged as a means of reinforcing and enriching the instructional program and to assist students to develop independent study skills. Length and complexity of homework assignments will be appropriate to the age and ability of the students as well as the subjects under study.
Students and parents should expect an average of 30 minutes of homework Monday through Thursday. Students are responsible for copying their assignments into their planner, organizing their materials, and completing the work in the proper form. We're asking parents to initial the planner in the evening to be sure that the students are prepared for the next school day.
Thursday Folders
Students work and other notices will be distributed on Thursdays by means of a Thursday Folder. Parents are asked to sign the folder and return it to school on Friday with your student. From time to time, your child's teacher may write comments in the comment section. Feel free to do the same if you have any questions or concerns. |
