I was born in Wilmington, Delaware and grew up in Cecil County, Maryland. I attended Salisbury State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Geography. I taught in Cecil County, Maryland for seven years. During this time I went to Western Maryland College (McDaniel) and earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In June of 2006 I got married and moved to Baltimore County with my husband. He grew up in Cockeysville and is a graduate of Frostburg State University.
