K-1 CALS

Welcome Parents and Students to the K-1 CALS Website. This website will provide you with information regarding schedules, teaching strategies to be used, units and lessons that we will be working on throughout the year, and any reminders that you may need to know about.
Let me take a brief moment to give a little background information about myself. This is my 2nd year with the K-1 CALS program. I graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I will be completing my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education at the Johns Hopkins University in May of 2007. Before coming to Padonia Elementary School, I worked at Kennedy Krieger for 3 years conducting research in the Early Detection/ Early Intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorders. I am really looking foward to working with my students this year and hope to have another successful year.
