Email Mrs. Castaldi Hi, my name is Linda Castaldi and this is my fifth year teaching at Padonia Elementary! I was a special education teacher at Padonia for four years, and now I am so excited to be teaching first grade. I have taught in Baltimore County for 9 1/2 years, including teaching Second Grade and working as an Instructional Support Teacher (I.S.T.) before coming to Padonia.
I love to see all the familiar faces, and the new faces too, at school each day. I really enjoy working with the children, parents, and teachers at Padonia, and I know we will have a wonderful year together! First grade is so much fun to teach, and I'm very happy in my new position.
I graduated from West Virginia University and received my Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in Education from Towson State University. In my spare time, I can be found at the barn where I keep my horse, a Haflinger named Otto. I have ridden horses all of my life! I also have a German Shepherd, Kita, and a cat, Murphy, whom I both adore! My students know I love animals, and I always have stories about my pets to share with them! Traveling each summer, reading, and going to the beach are more of my favorite activities.
This will be a great year for all of us! Please let me know if you ever have any questions...feel free to email or call me. Thank you for all of your support! |
