| Blood Lead Testing |
| Beginning in September 2003, State Department of Health regulations require that schools receive documentation regarding blood lead testing for all children upon first entry into pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or first grade. At least one blood lead test must be done on or after the second birthday on each student who lives or has ever lived in an identified at risk zip code.
