To be successful in 7th Grade World Cultures students should have the following items.

1. Notebook (divided in 3 sections)

--Classwork
This part of the notebook is to keep notes, and any assignments that are collected and graded. The notebook should be kept for the entire unit of study. No items should be discarded from this section untill after the cumulitive exam given in June.

-- Drill Section
Students will keep this section of their notebook to copy down the daily drill and objective. A drill quiz will be given about every two weeks to check for accuracy and organization.

-- Homework
This section of the notebook should be the place where students place their daily homework assignment. This section should be easily acessed and should be kept neat and organized at all times.

2. Colored Pencils

In seventh grade world cultures, it is often necissary to complete map coloring assignments. Colored pencils are best for these activities as they allow students to fix mistakes easily. Students should have them with them at all times. Passes will not be given to retrieve these materials from lockers. Always remember, Blue is for water only!!!

3. Textbook

--Acacemic: Global Mosaics
--G&T: Global Insights

Students will be assigned a take home textbook. This book should stay at home as we have a set for classroom use. Students will be responsible for the replacement of the textbook should it be lost or damaged.
