National Junior Honor Society
NJHS The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship in the students of secondary schools.

Requirements for Induction:

1. 2 consecutive semesters of grades that reflect no C's and no more than 3 B's are allowed to become a candidate for NJHS.
2. These two consecutive quarters can be from your 4th quarter of sixth grade to your 3rd quarter in 8th grade.
3. To remain in NJHS you must keep your grades up with the same requirements.
3. You are allowed to have one semester that does not meet these requirements for which you are put on probation.
4. You also must complete one provided service hour each year you are in NJHS.
5. Members and Candidates for Induction must attend meetings to discuss the upcoming service project will occur from 3-3:30 throughout the year.


An induction ceremony will occur at the end of the year to induct all candidates as members into the NJHS.
