AP Chemistry Course Info
madscience Congratulations to last year's AP Chem. "Wizzes" with 100% pass and the average being a 4!

AP Chemistry is offered every other year at FHS. The next course will be offered 2009-2010 school year.

Mrs. G's Expectations to enroll in AP Chem.:

•Satisfactory completion (As and Bs) of G/T or Honors Chemistry and Math courses…
otherwise, see me and your Guidance Counselor
•Willingness to work very hard
College Board requires this course to be representative of a college-level experience, since students could potentially earn college credit with The Exam.
A double period (2 credit) course translates to 2 As, Bs, Cs, etc.!
•Excellent attendance… missing a 90-minute class is missing a lot!
There is much to gain from the class discussion and presentation that you can’t get from copying notes and reading the text.
•Satisfactory completion of summer review work
•Satisfactory grade on the AP diagnostic test
