| Homework Policies |
Due to the fact that 4th grade students have homework 4 nights a week in reading and math, they very rarely have homework in science, social studies or health. Any homework they are given is usually in preparation for tests. Assignments will be given in class and the students will be instructed to write their homework in their planner.
Spelling homework is given each full week of school. Homework for spelling is as follows:
Monday: Words spelled incorrectly on pretest must be written correctly 3 x's each
Tuesday: Words should be arranged in ABC order
Wednesday: Choose 10 words and use them in a sentence to show the meaning of the word
Thursday: Study and take a practice test |
