Dear Students and Parents, I am very excited about this school year beginning, and I hope you are as well. In order for you to get to know me a little better, I thought I would take this time to introduce myself to you. First of all, I am a native to Baltimore County Maryland and attended Baltimore County Public Schools. I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Towson University. Then, I earned my Masters of Arts in Education Degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Some personal facts about me are that I am a mother,a wife, and a twin. I love spending time with my family. Tad and I have been married for 18 years and have two wonderful daughters Rebecca and Linzi. Our other family members include two very cute and active puggle puppies named Daisy and Colby and two very lazy cats named Oliver and Velvet. In addition to spending time with the family, I also love to go sailing on my sailboat, watch movies, or read. This will be my eleventh year teaching here at Middlesex Elementary School! Prior to teaching second grade, I taught one year of fifth grade and four years of fourth grade. I am very excited about teaching second grade again this school year, and will do everything I can to help your child succeed in school. I know that we will be working together for the benefit of your child. Therefore, I would appreciate your support in my academic, homework, and discipline efforts here at school. By working together, I am confident that your child can have his or her most successful school year yet. I am looking forward to seeing you at the Back-to-School Night on August 27th at 6:30p.m.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lynn Foertsch
