I have been an art educator for the Baltimore County Public School System since 1990!
I truly enjoy the challenge of inspiring all my students to feel passionate about art as well encouraging them to take pride in their work and develop skills according to their own abilities. It is also very exciting to see them grow as artists from year to year!

Each year as I teach students art concepts and new skills, I incorporate a school-wide art theme. This year's theme is "Inspired by the Masters."
Every grade level will focus on a few famous artists. They will create their own artwork based on what they learn about a particular artist or art style.
The culmination of all this creative energy is the CVE Art Exhibit held in the spring. The best part is that every student at CVE will have artwork on display for this event! Volunteers are encouraged to help out with this ambitious endeavor. We begin preparing for the event as early as January. |
