General Information About Me

I grew up in New York City and graduated from LIU. My first teaching experience was in Manhattan, with sixth grade in 1972. The next teaching experience was in Maryland, beginning in 1973. For my 26 years in the classroom, I loved teaching all the different grades. In all honesty, my favorite grade to teach was first grade. It is beyond exciting and wonderful to see how the children learn all the curriculum. How superb it is to see them grow into fine citizens and friends!
I received my masters degree and my advanced professional degree over the years. For nine years I was a mentor teacher trainer, working with non tenured teachers. I have now decided to return to the first grade classroom and I AM THRILLED TO BE AT WOODHOLME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. This warm, nurturing and welcoming school is amazing and filled with the most updated technology!
