| This is my seventh year teaching math at Cromwell Valley Elementary School. I taught fourth grade math for the first four years and am now teaching fifth grade math. CVE is a wonderful school that integrates technology into all learning. The fourth and fifth grade math programs incorporate this philosophy throughout the curriculum. The students demonstrate this through their achievements. |

The students did a wonderful job with the Fifth Grade Wax Museum. Please open the link for a video of the event. December is a very busy month at CVE. We will be completing a fifth grade service project - a book drive. The new books donated will be given to a needy school or social program through Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Scholastic Book Fair on 12/15/09 is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a book for this cause. Students are busy rehearsing for the Wizard of Oz. Please keep a calendar of the extra practice times. Many students are going to extra I-Station sessions, and all are enjoying First in Math.
