Important Information for all 5th graders:
All fifth graders will be given homework on a daily basis. Some assignments will be due each day and others will be due on Fridays. All 5th graders have been given a planner to use. We will write down our homework each day and it will be expected that parents/guardians sign their child(ren)'s planners each night. Students will be assigned homework in reading, vocabulary, spelling, math and occasionally social studies, science and health. In addition, the planners will be used to help the students keep track of important dates. I will also use the planner as a way to communicate with parents/guardians on a daily basis. Please feel free to write any notes, comments or concerns you may have in the planner.

More Important Information for all 5th graders:
On each Thursday fifth graders will be taking home all of their graded papers from the week as well as any important school papers. These papers will be stored in classroom mailboxes. Please check with your child(ren) to make sure they are showing you all of their hard work and any special announcements! Also, all make up will be placed in these mailboxes.
