Vision Statement:
The philosophy of the Baltimore County Public School's Speech-Language Program is that all children should have equal access to learning. Speech-Language Pathologists provide schoolwide support to children, teachers, and families to develop and enrich the underlying foundation of communication skills neccessary for learning. Children who need remediation of communication skills are identified at the earliest possible age. Intervention is provided through flexible continuum of service delivery models to develop more effective communication skills and to help students be successful in an inclusive setting.

Speech-Language Pathologists and teachers collaborate and modify instruction to meet individual student needs. Families are an integral part of each intervention plan. Speech-Language Pathologists work with students, teachers and families to enable students to internalize comunication skills to facilitate maximum participation in edcuational settings and life in the twenty-first century.
