Welcome to Woodholme Elementary School and Ms. Janney's Third Grade Class! Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. DeWeese, Ms. Trentacoste, and Mrs. Watts and I make up the third grade team here at Woodholme.
I am looking forward to an exciting year at Woodholme Elementary! I am using this web site as a link between home and school. I will be posting homework information, up-coming events, announcements, and interesting information about our third grade.
I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I taught fifth grade at Johnnycake Elementary School for one year. Then I taught third grade for six years at Hillcrest Elementary before coming to Woodholme, where I have taught fourth and third grades.
I live in Reisterstown with my 17-year-old goddaughter and our three dogs. Ellen is entering her last year of high school. Wow!! I'm looking forward to seeing her successes this year.
Penelope is a black lab/chow mix. She is rather large at 98 pounds. Annabelle is a hound mix. She's a little smaller at 50 pounds. Bambi is a bichon. She's little at 9 pounds, but she's been known to chase Penelope away and take her food!!
I attended American University where I got my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I finished a master's degree in educational technology at Loyola a few years later. |
