Room 19 is the place to be...
Hello! My name is Laura Johnson and I am one of the Intermediate Reading Specialists that may be working with your child this year. I am looking foward to a brand new year! I will be working with students in third, fourth, and fifth grades. We will be working with small groups to prepare for MSA and to practice applying our reading skills and strategies. We will be developing new vocabulary, an understanding for reading and our test taking strategies. We will be working very hard! In addition, I will be one of the teachers working with the After-School Reading tutorial that will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:45 beginning on October 14th. I am very excited to get this year under way! |
