Guiding Gems
Welcome! This is my first year at Johnnycake, and I am extremely excited to be here! I’m originally from Queens, New York and Baltimore County has been a wonderful change. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton VA and my Master of Science in Education at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. I have been working with children from various backgrounds; and complicated needs and I will continue to do so.
The Counseling Program at Johnnycake Elementary School will foster an environment for growing both academically and emotionally. We are building more responsible, respectful, safe and prepared students. In this website you will find ideas to help your child achieve their maximum potential. Through counseling, consultation and coordination of services I am here to assist not only the Gems within our building but the Gems at home as well.
