Mrs. Beck, Reading Specialist Reading email me Hello. My name is Michele Beck. I have been a teacher at Middlesex Elementary for eight years. I have been working in the Baltimore public school system for fourteen years. I am currently one of the intermediate reading specialists at Middlesex. I often work with small groups to teach, practice or enrich reading skills. The children seem to enjoy this special one on one or small group attention. I often see an increase in the areas of phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency and writing through out this time. At home you can support your children by visiting the library on a regular bases and encourage journal writing. I am very excited to work with your children in the 2007-2008 school year!
