We will be doing a lot of fun activities during our reading/language arts block. We will be using our Houghton Mifflin books, break-out books, trade books, Weekly Readers, poetry and Open Court Phonics in our reading program. We will be writing compositions and poetry, writing in journals and using computers for publishing. We will be completing two units in Primary Talent Development on Branching out with Trees and Saving the Environment. We will be learning about divergent and convergent questioning.
