What's Next in 2009-2010?
Through our studies, we will embark on a year of exploring, learning, and growing together! There are so many places we will go, so many people we will meet, and oh so many things we will do in fourth grade reading. I hope you take the time to visit this website often. A Little Bit About Me!
I was born in the midwestern city of Peoria, Illinois. I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago with my mom, older brother Michael, and younger brother Jason.
When I graduated from high school, I chose to go to Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. During a work study program, I had been chosen to work as an assistant in an on campus preschool. I loved it! Shortly after, I officially began my study of elementary education.
After graduating, I moved to Baltimore to become a second grade teacher. Nineteen years later, having taught at every level in grades 1-6, I can still say- I love my job!
Now, I am in my fourth year of teaching fourth grade reading at CVE! I am married and living with my husband Juan and daughter Ana Christina in Baltimore County.
Some things I enjoy doing are reading(when I have time) , shopping at outlets and TJMaxx, watching movies, traveling, and above all, spending time with my family and friends.
Now you know a little bit about me. I look forward to spending the whole year getting to know about you and your family too!
