| Welcome to my website! Third grade is a great place to be at Prettyboy Elementary School! We combine learning with fun each day for all of our students. Our school day begins at 8:30 A.M. and ends at 3:15 P.M. The primary focus of our program is responsibility as we prepare for the challenges of 4th and 5th grade. |

Our class travels to Related Arts classes each day of the week. Please refer to this list for your information.

Tuesday- Technology
Wednesday- Physical Education
Thursday- Library
Friday- Art
Students receive 30-45 minutes of independent homework each night in third grade and are expected to return their assignments the following day.

The Trading Post is the school store that is operated by the third graders at Prettyboy. Students must apply and be interviewed before they are accepted as employees. They are trained to order and stock store items, as well as, serve customers as they visit the store. Parent volunteers serve as managers each time the store is open for business. The Trading Post is open on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 - 8:45 A.M. and is located in the third grade pod entrance. Proceeds are used to purchase technology for classrooms.
