| Welcome to Mrs. Piniecki's Classroom |
Hello and welcome to a new school year! My name is Nancy Piniecki and I have been teaching at Middlesex now for 16 years. I am a special education and regular education teacher and this year, I am working with 3 year old students. My classroom is located in the preschool wing. As you enter the front foor of the school, turn right. Go past the office, down the steps, and past the cafeteria. Keep going straight until you come to the end of the hall- I am in room 35. The three year olds will be attending in two sessions--morning--8:45-11:25 AM, and afternoon--12:50-3:25 PM. We will be starting our school year off getting to know our new friends and staff and talking about coming to school. We will be reading a book called, "The Kissing Hand," which is a story about a raccoon who doesn't want to leave his mom and go to school for the first time. We will also be learning about ourselves, making new friends, sharing, and taking turns. We will also be learning our new routine in a school setting. I will be sending home a weekly newsletter on Thursdays to update parents on our weekly activities. I always send home activities that parent can do to reinforce what we are learning in school. I'm looking forward to meeting my new friends and their families next week during conferences. See you soon!!
