What type of homework will I get every night?
-One page of math homework
-Each student is expected to read for at least 15 min. every night. There is a reading chart that the parent/guardian should sign to show that this occurred.
-Practice the sight words as often as possible.
-There may be phonics or reading homework given.
-A parent/guardian must sign the target behavior chart each night.

What is expected in class?
-It is expected that all students enter the classroom ready to work quietly each day.
-If directions are not followed and a warning is given, the student will be asked to "flip a card" changing from their green (good job) card, to their yellow (warning and 5 min. off recess) card, or possibly to their red (note sent home and 10 min. off recess) card. If a student goes on red the note that will be sent home is expected to be signed and returned.
-When students are doing a good job, they may be asked to put a penny into their treasure chest. When a student reaches 10 cents, they will receive a prize from my treasure chest.
