Concert Requirements

Concert Dates
|
All students in band or orchestra are required perform in our Winter and Spring Concerts. Students must wear a white collared top, black bottoms, and black shoes. Girls choosing to wear a skirt or skort must make sure it is at least knee length or longer.
Students should arrive at 6pm to warm up, tune, and get dressed in cummerbunds and bow ties (loaned by the school). The concert begins at 7pm, and typically ends around 7:30pm (Winter) and 8pm (Spring).
Any student missing the performance due to illness or an excused absence must turn in an excuse letter from their parents. Students then must complete a make up report. Mr. Ruth will distribute make up work when the excuse letter is received. |
6th grade:
Winter- December 17th (Weds)
Spring- May 14th (Thurs)
7th grade:
Winter- December 16th (Tues)
Spring- May 19th (Tues)
8th grade:
Winter- December 11th (Thurs)
Spring- May 20th (Weds)
Orchestra Assessment: March 2nd (Mon) 11am
Band Assessment: March 11th (Weds) 11am
Both assessments are held at Dumbarton Middle School (Towson). |
