Want an EASY tip for helping your student bring up his or her grades? "Check up on" your student! Middle schoolers NEED parental oversight. Check the teachers' webpages each night to ensure your student is doing all of his or her homework. Email the teachers at least bi-weekly to ensure your student is turning in assignments.

Find Resources! The Maryland Community Services Locator website is a great place to locate resources within the community. You can search for listings by zip code and by need. Listings include: AA/NA meetings, conflict resolution, food assistance, housing assistance, HIV/AIDS resources, juvenile services, mental health services, substance abuse services, etc. Visit Maryland Community Services Locator.
