| HMS Jazz Band |

The Jazz Band meets for the entire school year. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are welcome to audition for this group. The Jazz Band uses standard jazz band instrumentation. Auditions are held in September.
Jazz Band performs many times during the school year, and it is expected that Jazz Band performances will take priority over other activities. If selected, students must be willing to attend all after school rehearsals and performances (car pooling has been arranged in the past). Jazz Band will meet every Thursday (2:00 – 3:15) when school is in session.
This is a wonderful opportunity for serious music students to have fun performing challenging music in and out of school. |

•6:00 p.m. Warm-up, 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. Concert – 6th Blue Band, 8th Band, Steel Band
•7:45 p.m. Warm-up, 8:15 - 9:00 p.m. Concert – 6th Silver Band, 7th Band, Jazz Band
