Classwork consists of:

Class discussion

Homework counts as 10% of a student's health grade.

Since the class meets on an A-B day rotation, homework assignments may be due two or more days after they are assigned.

Keeping a current assignment book will help monitor your progress.

Assessments count as 20% of a student's health grade.

Assessments consist of a variety of testing techniques designed to allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills of the science content being taught.
Many of the unit assessments are projects that will be described to the students at the beginning of the unit and much of the work may be done at home.

Students, who have missed health work due to an illness, should make up their work as soon as possible and turn it into Mrs. Kenton. No points will be deducted if the work is completed in a timely manner.

You can submit any Late Work or Make Up work to Mrs. Kenton electronically by using the Late Work and Make Up Work link above and attaching your document to your message.

Students who do not hand in an assignment on the day it is due have an opportunity to turn the assignment in late, but they will be deducted one point for each day the assignment is late.
