Click here to see images of Ireland. My great-grandfather Luke McCusker, son of John McCusker and Rosanne Duffin, was born in the townland of Mullaghglass, Ireland in County Tyrone in 1871. In the summer of 1899 he was granted passage aboard the H.M.S. Oceanic (White Star LIne) bound for New York City. He arrived at Ellis Island on September 13, 1899. After getting married, he and his new wife left New York City and came to Baltimore . . . the rest is history. |
