My Pack
I live with 4 domesticated wolves!
The Way of the Wolf
I have always been a teacher. My mother was a kindergarten teacher when I was little. From the time I was in 2nd grade, I used to go to her classroom and help by reading to the "little kids." Eventually I earned a B.S. and M.Ed. in Special Education. I have taught students from age 3 to college. I have adopted the Wolf as my totem, or spirit animal, because the Wolf is an animal that cares for its young and teaches them within close-knit packs that are very much like human families. I collect wolves. I am thrilled to be at Windsor Mill, where the mascot is the Wolf.

Personally Speaking
I have many hobbies and interests. Many of them are handicrafts with fabric and fiber, such as sewing, quilting, crocheting, weaving, and cross stitch. I also love working with beads, making jewelry or embellishing clothing with beadwork. I work with stained glass, both copper foil and leaded, and have started working with fusible glass. I've also started learning metalsmithing in order to expand my options with jewelry making. I enjoy growing and using herbs. I love language and linguistics. I've studied Italian in Italy and taught English in China. My favorite books are fantasy/science fiction. My favorite authors are Orson Scott Card, Sherri Tepper, and Terry Pratchett. I enjoy comedy movies and sitcoms on T.V.
