This website is currently under construction for Mrs. Press' 6th grade math students and parents. These students include the Math 6 classes and the Algebraic Thinking - Foundations classes. Welcome!
I have been teaching in Baltimore County Public Schools for 15 years, all of them in the southwest area. Most of my experience has been with teaching 5th graders. This is my second career, as I was an accountant and financial officer for 10 years prior to becoming a teacher. I received my undergraduate degree from Loyola College and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Towson State University. I have a husband of 25 years, a 24 year old daughter, and a 13 year old daughter.
My philosophy is that all students can learn! I do all that I can to ensure that your child receives a quality education, but I need your help. Please contact me as needed. I look forward to hearing from you.
