Welcome to art class at Perry Hall Middle School! This year we are learning drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, crafts, computer design, and art history. Please explore the site to view artwork from our students.
Our art program is a sequential, year long program in grades 6,7,and 8. Students meet every other day on an A or B Day schedule. We also offer a sixth grade Portfolio Prep Class designed to help students prepare portfolios for application into our seventh and eighth grade GT art classes.

All of our art classes encourage critical and creative thinking. Students analyze, critique,and explore alternative points of view, enabling them to be effective and creative visual communicators. The skills learned in our art classes help to develop students' reasoning, imagination, dexterity, and intuition.
