Welcome to the Links Page!
zelda 2

What can I expect to find here?
The obvious answer is links, and not the kind in the picture. (Note the lack of an apostrophe making it a plural of the word "link" instead of a possessive form of the proper noun "Link".) To be specific, on this page, you will find a list of links and a brief description of the webpage it brings you to. Some of the links will be fun; others, useful, but all of the links are here for a reason. So, enjoy them and hopefully you'll learn something while procrastinating.

The Preposition Song!
This is the preposition song that I learned in 8th grade and still can't forget. (Thank you Mrs. Cennamo.) Sing the prepositions in alphabetical order to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic" (ie. "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord" becomes "about, above, across, after against among, around")

Other Grammar Songs
This is a list of other preposition and grammar related songs. Some even have sound clips! Still, it's no Schoolhouse Rock.

Interactive Grammar Quiz
This is an interactive grammar quiz I designed using Microsoft Excel. If you use the mouse to hover over the "Student Response" box, you will receive the multiple choice responses for the "Question". The "Feedback" column tells you whether you are correct or incorrect and why! There are a few bugs that need to be worked out (mostly with the grammar hints in the "Feedback" column, but it works well enough!

Fee Based Databases for Free!
Access these fee based databases for free using this page. Databases include BrainPop, CultureGrams, and Literature Resource Center.

Looking to Relive My Old GT Language Arts Class?
Then you're a little crazy and you scare me. However, this is the link to the old "Projects and Reviews" page that you used instead of a "Links" page. This has all of the resources you used for your old projects and more! (Yes, the Shakespeare Insult Generators are still included.)

What's Your Pirate Name?
This is the link to the pirate name generator that was included on the top of your "Talk Like a Pirate Day" packet.
