The Oral History Project
General Information

The Oral History project is the one component of the grade eight GT social studies curriculum that directly involves the 20th century. Students are required to create a primary resource, a recorded interview with an eyewitness to an era in American history.

Students will have the opportunity to research a topic, find an interview subject, create a variety of questions, and produce their recording.

Parents and students are encouraged to examine the daily updates on the "This Week..." page of this website. In addition, the links below can provide important information in ensure the student is prepared for this exciting activity.
