This year we will study the diverse cultures of Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Among the themes examined in these regional studies will include:
•how geography has impacted cultures.
•how cultures have been impacted by their physical world.
•how societies have had cross-cultural encounters and exchanges on both regional and global scales.
•how different cultures overcome problems of scarcity and economic interdependence.
•how and why cultures have acquired, exercised, and lost power.

Hello students and parents!
My goal for this website is to help students stay organized. Parents should use this as a resource to be aware of class assignments. It should also be a tool for students who are absent from school and want to know what they have mised. If there is something you can't find or you have any questions, please e-mail me or call me at 410-887-1114.
